Nightdive Studio Confirmation Of System Shock Reake Release In March 2023

JAKARTA - Nightdive Studio has announced that its newest title System Shock remake will be launched this year.

Remaking of this title takes a long time for its development. After years of delays, the launch is getting closer.

In April last year, developers confirmed that System Shock's re-making had entered the final stages of development, and revealed its launch window in March 2023.

"After we returned from Gamescom, we were hesitant to share anything so as not to damage the remaining surprises we had. However, we have selected the last few things to share before our launch window which is getting closer in March 2023," the developer wrote in its latest update.

While this isn't the first time they have announced a tentative launch window for System Shock remake, developers have explained that the scope and scale of the project has "evolved dramatically" during development, while Prime Matter is present as its own.

"The scope and scale of the project have grown dramatically and with the joining of Prime Matter in this project, we can focus on improving the quality of life, improving bugs, and supporting the final major step towards the release of games that we are all very proud of," wrote Nightdivive Studios.

The publisher also allows for more polesan and improvements to additional areas of experience. This also gives us time to go back and polish various aspects of the game that require extra flexibility." he added.

Some of the improvements developers have made in the game are new enemy variants, and "slight changes" to the Citadel, an entirely new enemy, a complete cutting system, updated weapons effects, and more.

Whenever released, System Shock remake will be available for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
