South Kalimantan KPU Is Ready To Face Denny Indrayana's Lawsuit Against Denny Indrayana Who Is Currently Fighting Injustice
BANJARMASIN - South Kalimantan KPU is ready to face the election lawsuit filed by the candidate pair for governor of South Kalimantan and Deputy Governor of South Kalimantan Denny Indrayana-Difriadi Derajat to the Constitutional Court (MK).
KPU commissioner of South Kalimantan, Nur Zazin, said that today Wednesday in Banjarmasin, the KPU has held a preliminary meeting in preparation for facing the lawsuit submitted by the applicant.
"Today, we have a meeting to make an inventory of the various problems that are subject to the lawsuit," he said as quoted by Antara, Wednesday, December 23.
South Kalimantan KPU will gather all city and regency KPU legal teams in South Kalimantan to get material and input.
Zazin said the KPU had carried out all the processes and stages of the elections in accordance with the provisions, so that all claims submitted by the applicants were expected to be answered properly.
He said that after coordinating with the central KPU, it was suggested that the South Kalimantan KPU prepare a lawyer who is not affiliated with a political party as a companion during the trial.
Zazin believes that with the answer material that has been prepared, the South Kalimantan KPU team will be able to answer all the material on the lawsuit questioned by the applicant.
"Whatever the plaintiff asks to the Constitutional Court, we will prepare the answer according to what we have been doing so far," he said.
The election lawsuit against the Constitutional Court, was not only filed by the candidate pair for the Governor and Deputy Governor of South Kalimantan, but also the candidate pair for Regent-Deputy Regent of Banjar H Rusli-Guru Fadlan, candidate pair for Regent-Deputy Regent of Kotabaru Burhanudin-Bahrudin and candidate pair for Mayor-Deputy Mayor Banjarmasin Ananda-Mushaffa Zakir.
"The entire KPU legal team will defend what we have set, because we are sure that the implementation of the elections has been carried out according to the rules," he said.
