Steven Wilson Will Not Extension Porcupine Tree Reunion After 2023 Ends

JAKARTA - Steven Wilson does not seem interested in extending the Porcupine Tree reunion period. He said the upcoming outdoor Porcupine Tree show would most likely be their last.

In a New Year's message to fans on Instagram and Twitter Monday, Wilson initially discussed his upcoming solo album, which he described as'very magnificent'.

He then said that several Porcupine Tree performances at the Summer festival are likely to be the last for the band.

The full statement reads: "Happy New Year to all of you! First and especially our deepest gratitude to all who enjoyed the album/show Porcupine Tree Closure/Continuation, and my book Limited Edition Of One over the past year.

"Coming in 2023 will be my new album, a rather difficult 65-minute 10-track musical journey to explain, but enough to say it's different again, not to mention very magnificent (in a good way!) It will be released by Virgin Music. England, details will be announced soon.

"While the performances of PT (possibly the last one) were some festival performances during Summer, check band channels for more info.

"A lot of more interesting (at least for me) things happen, but for now I will leave you with my best wishes for next year, I hope this will be a great thing for you."

Porcupine Tree is holding a reunion tour since September last year. In the near future, they will return to the streets where one of them will appear at Castlefield Bowl, Manchester on 29 June.
