Officially The STAI Campus Flats In West Kalimantan, Ministry Of PUPR: We Hope Students Are Focused On Learning
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) inaugurated the Mempawah Islamic High School (STAI) Flats (Rusun) for IDR 16.5 billion in Pasir Village, Mempawah Hilir District, Mempawah Regency, West Kalimantan.
The flat, which is built as high as three floors, has 43 type 24 residential units, equipped with furniture in it, and is able to accommodate 170 students.
"Through this development, we hope that students can learn to live in vertical housing, focus on learning and studying in college," said Director General of Housing at the Ministry of PUPR Iwan Suprijanto in a written statement, Monday, January 2.
Iwan said that currently his party is encouraging the construction of vertical housing, including for the younger generation.
"This is done so that they can study in vertical housing while optimizing the use of existing land," he said.
Meanwhile, the Director of Flats at the Directorate General of Housing, Ministry of PUPR, Aswin Grandiarto Sukahar, said that the construction of the STAI Mempawah Flat has been completed 100 percent and is ready to be used as a student dormitory to support teaching and learning activities on campus.
The contractor implementing the construction of the STAI Mempawah Flat is PT Metro Kreasi Indo Teknik and Construction Management Consultant PT Fini Rekayasa Consultant, through an operating cooperation scheme (KSO) with PT Bahtra for Engineering Consultant Services and PT Artha Teknik Persada.
The construction time for the Flats is carried out on a multi-year contract (MYC) contract, from April 7, 2021 to July 31, 2022.
"The construction of this flat costs Rp. 16.5 billion, and is able to accommodate 170 students. The flats are also equipped with a number of facilities, such as clean water and each room is equipped with a bathroom," concluded Aswin.
