Ministry Of Home Affairs Finds Odd Budget DPRD DKI, Deputy Governor: Still In The Evaluation Stage

JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria said the findings of the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) regarding the odd budget in the DKI Jakarta DPRD worth IDR 5,112,555,027 are still in the evaluation process.

According to Riza, currently the Ministry of Home Affairs is still checking the budget for 2021, including the budget for the DKI Jakarta DPRD which is considered odd.

"Indeed, it is currently in the evaluation process at the Ministry of Home Affairs, not only in Jakarta but in all provinces and districts. Wait for the results of the evaluation by the Ministry of Home Affairs, we will coordinate it," said Ariza in Jakarta, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, December 23.

With the evaluation from the Ministry of Home Affairs, it is hoped that the 2021 DKI Regional Budget will be in accordance with the needs and in accordance with the principles of financial use.

The Ministry of Home Affairs will coordinate any unsuitable things with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government.

"This is routinely assisted by the Ministry of Home Affairs every year in the framework of checking, the budget is not only in accordance with financial principles but also must be efficient, right on target," said Riza.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has found a number of irregularities in the 2021 DKI Jakarta Regional Budget Draft. Director of Regional Budget Planning of the Ministry of Home Affairs Bahri stated that the discrepancies were found in the Annual Work Plan (RKT) of DKI Jakarta DPRD members.

A number of irregularities were found, among them related to the procurement of complete civilian clothing, capital expenditure for audio equipment, capital expenditure for "personal computers" and capital expenditure for other computer equipment at the DPRD Secretariat.
