Halim Airport LIKEs 118,398 Passengers During Christmas And New Year
JAKARTA - Halim Perdanakusuma Airport in East Jakarta, recorded that 118,398 passengers had departed or landed during the Christmas and New Year 2023 periods, precisely from 19 December 2022 to 1 January 2023.
The passengers consisted of 118,135 domestic passengers and 263 international passengers.
The number of passengers increased significantly compared to the same period in 2021, which was as many as 60,295 passengers, consisting of 60,228 domestic passengers and 67 international passengers.
Coordinator of the Halim Perdanakusuma Airport Christmas and New Year Command Post Feby Zanuar said the intended area or city of passengers tends to be evenly distributed throughout Indonesia.
"Almost evenly evenly distributed, to Kualanamu (Medan), Bali, Jogja, Surabaya, (to) Malang," said Feby as quoted by Antara, Sunday, January 1.
He conveyed that the high rainfall at the end of this year did not interfere with flights from or to Halim Perdanakusuma Airport.
However, his party noted that 22 flights were delayed during the Christmas and New Year periods this time.
As of today until the afternoon at 15.00 WIB, 1,516 passengers have been dispatched from Halim Airport via 18 flights to various regions in Indonesia.
Meanwhile, the passengers who landed today until the afternoon at 15.00 WIB, were 1,402 passengers via 13 flights from various regions in Indonesia.
He gave a message to passengers departing or landing at Halim Airport, to be able to take advantage of available Christmas and New Year posts to find out all information related to flights to airport facilities.
"For example, where the counter is, what kind of check-in, many passengers don't know. Maybe it's the first time to go to Halim Airport," said Feby.
