The Angkot Car Belonging To Visitors TMII Hit Him In The Parking Area, There Were No Casualties Or Injuries.
JAKARTA - An explosion occurred in the vehicle parking area in the Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) area, Lubang Buaya Village, Cipayung, East Jakarta on Sunday, January 1.
Based on the information gathered, the source of the explosion was in the elevated area of the 1st floor, TMII parking area.
"At around 14:28 WIB, we received a report from TMII security that there was an explosion. After receiving the report, Gulkarmat Sub-dept. officers immediately went to the location," said Head of East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Gatot Sulaeman, Sunday, January 1.
About 1 unit of fire engines with 4 personnel were deployed to check. When checked, it turned out that the explosion was sourced from a parked angkot car.
"The object caught fire was the explosion of an M41 Cibinong angkot car belonging to a visitor named Zaenal. The reason was because the LPG modified gas cylinder made the car fuel explode," he said.
Luckily, there were no casualties or injuries as a result of the incident. The officers also managed to extinguish the fire.
