Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono appealed to residents to be wary of luggage when welcoming the 2023 New Year celebrations along Sarinah to Sudirman.
Heru Budi and his entourage took the time to greet residents who were waiting for the New Year celebration in Sarinah, Saturday, December 31 evening. He then walked to the Hotel Indonesia roundabout.
"We urge you to remain vigilant, guard each other's belongings such as cellphones and others," he said when met by the media crew.
The community began to sag along the Sarinah road to Hotel Indonesia since this afternoon. They are presented with a cultural performance of wayang kulit and music.
Budi invited the public to enjoy the various series of events that had been prepared. He emphasized that the community should maintain security during the celebration.
"Dn does not forget to maintain cleanliness so that tomorrow morning DKI Jakarta activities, especially Thamrin and Gatot Subroto, can be clean and the cleaning staff is not so heavy to clean," he said.
Budi and his entourage immediately left for Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) to celebrate the peak of the New Year's Eve event there after leaving the Hotel Indonesia roundabout.
Heru was accompanied by the Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD Prasetyo Edi Marsudi, Acting Regional Secretary (Sekda) of DKI Jakarta Uus Kuswanto, Deputy Governor for Culture and Tourism Marullah Matali. Central Jakarta Mayor Dhany Sukma and Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) also participated in the group.
Apart from Sarinah and HI, the DKK Regional Government has also prepared several points for the 2023 New Year's Eve celebration festival series, including the office of the Mayor of North Jakarta, West Jakarta Mayor's Office, Setu Babakan, South Jakarta.
