KKB Shoots The Yahukimo Police Guard Post And The Artificial Kali Brimob In Yahukimo Papua
JAKARTA - Armed Criminal Groups (KKB) have again spread terror. They attacked the Yahukimo Police guard post and the Artificial Kali Brimob Post in Dekai District, Yahukimo Regency.
"It is true that there were attacks, shootings at the Yahukimo Police guard post and the Artificial Kali Brimob Post," said Head of Public Relations of the Papua Police, Kombes Ahmad Musthofa Kamal in his statement, Saturday, December 31.
The attack on the KKB was said to have occurred twice. The first attack was carried out by the sparatist group to the Yahukimo Police SPKT guarantee post on Friday, December 22, at around 22.35 WIT
Based on the testimony of members who were at the location, the attack began when someone passed by riding a motorcycle.
It appears that the motorcyclist is carrying children from the direction of Dekai City. Shortly after that, gunshots were heard.
"While passing in front of the Yahukimo Police SPKT guard post, the witness saw the motorcyclist stop and there was a sound of a firearm eruption once pointing at the Gapura fence at the Yahukimo Police Headquarters and also the Lekoset Pantulan pointing to the left wall of the Yahukimo Police SPKT guard post," said Kamal.
Then, the second attack occurred the next day, precisely Saturday, December 31 at 05.28 WIT. This time, the Mobile Brigade Post was created on Jalan Gunung Dekai District, Yahukimo Regency, which was targeted.
"This group again shot the Brimob Post in Dekai District. The shooting was carried out from the front and left sides simultaneously, from the front as many as 6 times a shot through the roof of the zinc and the front post wall," he said.
"There was one projectile hitting one member in front of Body Face but it didn't penetrate the front chest and then one shot from the left hit the left wall of the left post," continued Kamal.
Of the two attacks, continued Kamal, there were no casualties or injuries. Currently, the pursuit of the shooter is underway.
"There were no casualties or injuries, members in Yahukimo Regency continue to increase patrols around the city to anticipate things that are not desirable," said Kamal.
