Good News From The Minister Of Trade Zulhas: Price Of Basic Stable Materials Ahead Of The End Of 2022
JAKARTA - Trade Minister Zulkifli Hasan emphasized that the price of basic necessities (Bapok) towards the end of 2022 is generally controlled and stable. In fact, in some areas it tends to be cheap.
One of them is in Bandung, West Java. This was confirmed by the Minister of Trade Zulkifli Hasan while visiting the Gedebage Main Market in Bandung, West Java today, Friday, December 30.
"We are ordered by the President (Joko Widodo) to continue to monitor the prices of bapok to markets to understand the pulses and complaints felt by the public. In Bandung, thank God, the price of bapok is cheap," he said.
Previously, Zulhas, as Zulkifli Hasan is familiarly called, also conducted a review of traditional markets to Fakfak, West Papua; Lampung, South Sumatra; and Kendal, Central Java.
Based on observations, medium rice was recorded at Rp. 10,000 per kg, Bulog medium rice at Rp. 9,400 per kg, premium rice at Rp. 12,000 per kg, sugar at Rp. 14,000 per kg, and bulk cooking oil at Rp. 14,000 per kg.
Then, said Zulhas, oil cooking oil is Rp. 14,000 per liter. Meanwhile, packaged cooking oil is Rp. 18,000 per liter. Then, flour is Rp. 12,000 per kg.
While beef is Rp130,000 per kg, chicken meat is Rp. 38,000 per kg, chicken eggs Rp. 28,000 per kg, curly red chilies Rp. 32,000 per kg, large red chilies Rp. 28,000 per kg, red cayenne pepper Rp. 55,000 per kg, thin onions Rp. 30,000 per kg, and garlic Rp. 24,000 per kg.
Regarding rice, Trade Minister Zulkifli Hasan said the government had asked Perum Bulog to pour rice stocks for market operations.
"This is done so that rice prices can continue to be suppressed. Later, during the harvest period, Bulog will buy more from farmers to increase supply," he said.
