Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo disbursed a budget of IDR 247.6 billion during 2022 for incentives for Koran teachers and madrasah diniyah (madin) in 35 regencies/cities." “ At the end of the year we boosted all of them, basically the regional apparatus organization (OPD) which is still red, not finished, now we are boosted. There are several things that we can pursue, we are pursuing, including the execution (incentives of Koran teachers and madins)," said Ganjar in Semarang, as reported by Antara, Thursday, December 29.He said the incentives for Koran and madin teachers were a commitment to the welfare of religious teachers. In addition, Ganjar accelerates budget absorption so that incentives are distributed by the end of 2022.According to him, budget absorption is not difficult to do with professional bureaucracy and in the last two weeks, his party has continued to boost budget absorption from other programs."We are still chasing this for a few days. So it has been two weeks to pursue it every day, budget absorption including income," he said.Since the beginning of the incentive program in 2019, the number of Koran teachers and madins who receive incentives continues to increase every year.In 2019 there were 171,131 Koran teachers and madins who received incentives, the number increased to 204,125 people in 2020, and increased again in 2021 to 205,655 people.
