Ready To Read Again, Mr. Big Have A New Drummer That Will Turn The Spirit Of Pat Torpey

JAKARTA - Eric Martin confirmed, Mr. Big has found a new drummer and plans to return to the streets to play some shows starting next summer.

The 62-year-old singer made the comment in response to Mr's decision. Big vacuum following the death of Pat Torpey. The drummer died in February 2018 at the age of 64 due to complications of Alzheimer's disease.

Asked in an interview with The Metal Voice whether Mr. Big had plans to return to the stage in the near future, this is Eric's answer.

"I'm here to tell you... I'm still not able to reveal who the drummer is now... Here, Mr. Big will definitely come back. No doubt. This will happen in mid-2023. We are scheduling the US and possible tours," Eric said. quoted from Blabbermouth, Wednesday.

"Paul got involved - obviously, Paul Gilbert, the real guitar player. [Bassis] Billy Sheehan too... and the spirit of Pat Torpey. And there will be a phenomenal drummer. Not Matt Starr [who played with MR. BIG in the past] in this case. Matt does his own job; I think he is playing with Ace Frehley now."

Regarding Mr.'s new drummer. Big, Eric explained, this man sent an audition video playing Lucky This Time, a song Mr rarely plays. Big - especially Eric - because it is very difficult to sing.

"So he was playing drums on the song and he sang the main part and harmony in every way. And it was phenomenal," continued Eric. "I didn't want to mention the person's name until the press release came out. But the guy was really cool."

Eric leaked, this drummer is not new to being known. And one thing that makes him special is that he is a big fan of Pat Torpey.

"I really noticed how when he made the video, when he played the drums and the way he set the drums, then hit the snake, it really was Pat Torpey. I think Pat will agree to this new mysterious guy," concluded Eric.
