Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba Tayang Di XXI Mulai 6 Januari 2021

JAKARTA - The popularity of the film Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba cannot be doubted.

Today, Tuesday 22 December, the XXI cinema chain announced the exclusive screening of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba The Movie: Mugen Train on January 6, 2021. For the first time, this cinema chain will screen a Japanese animated film.

XXI is known for airing local and international films and rarely showing anime films but this time the pandemic situation changed that principle.

Demon Slayer distributor in Indonesia, CBI Pictures, responded to the announcement by providing a purple heart emoji.

The presence of the Demon Slayer film has become a hero in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. In October, this film was recorded to reach 100 million United States dollars.

Currently, Demon Slayer is the second highest grossing film of all time after Studio Ghibli's Spirited Away. However, it only took a few days to wait for Demon Slayer to shift Spirited Away's advantage.

The film tells of a boy named Tanjiro Kamado who becomes a demon exterminator. His family was murdered and his younger sister, Nezuko turned into a demon. Later, Tanjiro Kamado joined the Demon Slayer Corps to fight demons.

Besides XXI, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba will air on the CGV cinema network starting January 6, 2021.
