Ministry Of Transportation Facilitates Licensing For Ferry Transfers Via AIR SDP
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Transportation through the Directorate of River, Lake and Crossing Transportation (TSDP) launched the River, Lake and Ferry Registration Information Application (AIR SDP). This platform allows entrepreneurs to easily apply for an ASDP operational permit.
According to the Director General of Land Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation, Budi Setiyadi, this application can cut the long bureaucratic process in obtaining permits. This resulted in long queues and took a long time.
"Now, with AIR SDP, we can cut bureaucracy, use time and costs more efficiently, more transparently, and also measure up," said Director General Budi in his statement, Tuesday, December 22.
Furthermore, his party has perfected the existing online licensing system. AIR SDP is integrated with Online Single Submission (OSS), so that operators and business actors can obtain permits in a short time.
"Thus, business actors can apply for permits, upload the required documents, monitor the process in real time, and are not limited to space and time," he continued.
In other words, AIR SDP allows business actors to process permits quickly, easily and efficiently. Inspection reports of ships on the track can be sent immediately at the time of inspection so that no physical documents are required, bureaucracy is faster, and of course can be accessed anywhere.
"Thus, I really hope that transportation operators can utilize and maximize this application as well as possible. In addition, it is also hoped that the active participation of ferry transport operators to provide feedback or suggestions for the development of AIR SDP to become a friendly and reliable licensing application," said Director General Budi.
On the same occasion, Head of the SDP Transportation Sub Directorate, Arif Muljanto, said that AIR SDP was developed in order to support ease of doing business and obtain operational approval and certification of SDP Transportation Minimum Service Standards (SPM).
"AIR SDP comes with a number of benefits that are not only felt by business actors, but also make it easier for the TSDP Directorate in managing the business licensing process, streamlining management processes and times, helping TSDP in adapting and transforming work in the digital era, and of course improving service quality. and investment climate in the SDP sector, "explained Arif in his presentation.
