RKUHP Spokesman Featuring The Reason For Defense Bharada E 'Lawan' Ferdy Sambo In The Brigadier J Case

JAKARTA - Criminal law expert Albert Aries revealed the reason for wanting to be a witness a de charge for the defendant Richard totaling alias Bharada E. One of them is due to a sense of humanity.

"For humanity, when someone is willing to be honest, yes," said Albert after the trial at the South Jakarta District Court (PN Jaksel), Wednesday, December 28.

The spokesperson for the Draft Criminal Code (RKUHP) also said that Bharada E's honesty should be appreciated. His courage to leave the Ferdy Sambo scenario and reveal all the new facts at trial is also the basis for him to help him.

"As an academic and legal practitioner, I am also moved. Because whoever admits the violation and leaves him will be loved," said Albert.

Meanwhile, in the trial, Albert Aries stated his presence as a mitigating witness for the defendant Bharada E in the alleged murder case of Brigadier J prodeo pro bono or free of charge.

His statement was made at the beginning of the trial when he introduced himself in front of the panel of judges.

"Perkenkan majelis, saya hadir di sini secara prodeo pro bono atau cuma-cuma, gratis," ujar Albert

One of the views he conveyed was that Bharada E was only used as a tool by Ferdy Sambo to commit a crime.

In addition, Bharada E, who only received the order, could not be convicted. This is in accordance with Article 51 of the Criminal Code.

"People who were told to do it earlier could not be held accountable just because it was a tool," he said.
