KSAL Muhammad Ali Promises To Work On Yudo Margono's Policy: Maybe With A Little Development
Admiral Muhammad Ali ensured that the homework left by Admiral Yudo Margono while serving as Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Navy (KSAL) would be completed. He conveyed this after being sworn in today, Wednesday, December 28.
"We'll see things that haven't been completed, we'll finish it," Ali told reporters at the State Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday, December 28.
Ali also said that he would continue the policies made by Yudo before becoming TNI Commander. However, he will also carry out developments.
Moreover, Ali assessed that the Indonesian Navy was increasingly advanced when led by Yudo Margono.
"He has developed a lot or built the power of the sea," he said.
"I will continue this, I will continue his policy and maybe there will be a little development," Ali added.
In addition, Ali will also focus on carrying out President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) orders. There are a number of things he must do, such as guarding the sea and borders and stopping illegal activities.
"Mr. President also emphasized preventing or carrying out activities or illegal activities at sea or by sea," he said.
As previously reported, President Jokowi appointed Admiral Muhammad Ali as Chief of Naval Staff (KSAL) replacing Admiral Yudo Margono who now serves as TNI Commander. He was sworn in at the State Palace, Jakarta.
He was inaugurated as KSAL based on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Number 100 of 2022. After being inaugurated, he received a promotion as Admiral through Presidential Decree No. 101 TNI of 2022.
