Sandiaga Uno Becomes Minister Of Tourism And Creative Economy, Minister Of Health Terawan Is Removed

JAKARTA - Sandiaga Uno was appointed by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to become Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy. Sandiaga is an elite Gerindra Party.

"Second, I want to introduce you, but we all know Mr. Sandiaga Uno. He used to be the deputy governor of DKI Jakarta, Chairman of HIPMI and now we will give him the responsibility to lead the ministry of tourism and creative economics, "said Jokowi introducing his new minister at the Palace, Tuesday, December 22.

Sandiaga when introduced, Jokowi gave greetings by bowing himself. Sandiaga wore a blue jacket and mask.

Apart from Sandiaga, Tri Rismaharini, who is currently the Mayor of Surabaya, was also appointed by Jokowi to be Minister of Social Affairs.

There is also Budi Gunadi Sadikin, Deputy Minister of BUMN who is now the Minister of Health.

"Mr. Budi Gunadi Sadikin, previously the President Director of Bank Mandiri, then became the President Director of PT Indonesia Asahan Indonesia and finally the Deputy Minister of BUMN and now we give the responsibility to lead the Ministry of Health," said Jokowi.
