Polda Metro Highlights 16 Crowd Points In Jakarta, Bekasi To Tangerang During The 2023 New Year Celebration

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya maps 16 crowded points during the 2023 New Year celebrations. Dozens of points are spread across DKI Jakarta, Bekasi City to Tangerang.

The Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E. Zulpan ensured that a number of police personnel would be deployed to maintain security and order.

"Anticipate the location of the Christmas and New Year crowd at Monas, GBK (Gelora Bung Karno), HI Roundabout (Hotel Indonesia), Ondel-ondel Statue, Jakarta Aquarium, Ancol, TMII (Taman Mini Indonesia Indah), Kota Tua, PIK (Patai Indah Kapuk), Blok M, Senopati, Kemang, Ragunan, BSD (Bumi Serpong Damai; South Tangerang), Summarecon Bekasi, and Alam Sutera (Kota Tangerang)," he said in a written statement, Tuesday, December 27.

Then, Zulpan added, security will also be carried out along Jalan MH Thamrin to Jalan Jenderal Sudirman. Along the road, eight entertainment stages will be established to welcome the New Year 2023.

The event is called the theme 'Young Night-Mudi 2023' with the concept of car free night.

On each stage will feature a different music performance. For example, the stage of the Bloc Post is a bleach party genre.

Next, the Sarinah stage with pop skin puppet genres and DJs. Then, the MRT stage of the HI Roundabout is jazz genre, as well as the stage of the dangdut dangdut dangdut or mixed with sari.

Then, the stage at Daryung Building is a mixed-sari genre, the SCBD stage with retro pop genres, the Sudirman FX stage with pop rock genres, and the M Block Space stage with the creative party genre.

"Later, personnel will be deployed for security at predetermined points," said Zulpan.

Meanwhile, overall Polda Metro Jaya deployed 7,421 personnel to secure Christmas 2022 and New Year 2023.
