Police Reveal Circulation Of Cannabis Milk From Aceh
JAKARTA - Police thwarted the circulation of cannabis in the form of cocoa powder milk from Aceh. The milk, which turned out to contain marijuana, had been tested by the laboratory.
"So this drug case is quite unique, marijuana is packaged in the form of chocolate powder milk," said South Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Budi Sartono as quoted by Antara, Tuesday, December 22.
Budi said the disclosure of the marijuana case began with the arrest of a dealer with the initials AK 11 December 2020 in the Cipete area, South Jakarta.
From the arrest of KA, the police found evidence of cocoa powder milk. After checking in the forensic laboratory for marijuana.
The police then examined KA's information, to find out where the marijuana in the form of cocoa powder was obtained.
"From KA's confession, he ordered it to someone with the initials SN in Aceh," said Budi.
The police followed up by tracing the whereabouts of SN in Aceh, until he made an arrest at his home in Aceh Besar District on December 17, 2020.
From the hands of the two suspects the police secured drug evidence in the form of marijuana milk weighing 4,831 grams, cannabis coffee weighing 1,718 grams, dodol marijuana weighing 1,870 grams and pure marijuana weighing 1,267 grams.
The Head of South Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Unit, Commissioner Wadi Sa'bani, said that marijuana milk is a new mode used by drug traffickers to trick their sales.
The perpetrator makes marijuana milk, marijuana coffee and dodol marijuana with a balanced composition of 50 percent marijuana and 50 percent other ingredients.
"The effect is that users can immediately get drunk, have a cold, vomit, dizzy. Just like the effect of marijuana on food mixtures as usual, there is always an effect," said Wadi.
The two suspects are now detained and undergoing questioning at the South Jakarta Metro Police Station. The police impose layered articles on both of them, because they have the role of distributor and production.
The suspected article is Article 114 paragraph (2) Susidair Article 111 paragraph (2) Subsidair Article 113 paragraph (2) Law No. 35 Year 2009 on Drugs with a maximum threat of death penalty or a minimum of five years.
