Murder Motives

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Bogor Police, AKP Yohanes Redhoi Sigiro, explained that IR admitted that he wanted to take the victim's cellphone. However, at that time the perpetrator also intended to rape the victim in public transportation 08 heading towards Anyar-Citereup Market.
"The victim himself in the angkot is playing with his cellphone. The perpetrator's first intention was to take the victim's cellphone as well as his property. But in the end, he intended to rape him," said Yohanes.
The perpetrator finally launched his action. The victim who fought back was finally helpless when the perpetrator stabbed a knife into a number of victims' bodies 17 times.
"The victim fought back. The victim bit the perpetrator's hand. And at that time the perpetrator took a knife in his bag. A total of 17 stabs," explained Yohanes.
The helpless victim was dumped by an angkot driver at a sand base, on the side of Jalan Raya Jakarta-Bogor, Cimandala Village, Sukaraja District, Bogor Regency. After the victim's body was placed in that place, the perpetrator fled and threw the knife used to kill the victim, into the river.
The angkot car he was carrying did not belong to the perpetrator. However, before the car is returned to its owner, the perpetrator will wash it first so that it is not known.
Two weeks of searching, the victim was finally arrested while pulling the angkot.
Yohanes said the victim and the perpetrator did not know each other. The victim is an angkot passenger and the perpetrator is a backup angkot driver or known as a shooting driver.
