Wantim Chairman NasDem Siswono Yudo Husodomundur Dari Partai, Waketum: Kita Sayangkan, Tapi Kita Hargai

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Advisory Council (Wantim) of the NasDem Party, Siswono Yudo Husodo, reportedly decided to resign from the party. Siswono's resignation adds to the row of names of NasDem elites who left the party ahead of the 2024 General Election. Deputy Chairman (Waketum) of the NasDem Party Ahmad Ali said his party had not officially received Siswono's resignation letter. He admitted that the news of Siswono leaving NasDem from the media.

"Until today, I haven't conveyed it. If you read it in the media, it's like that (resign, ed)," said Ali when confirmed, Monday, December 26.

Ali regretted Siswono's resignation because he was a senior NasDem cadre. However, he respects Siswono's decision even though NasDem must be willing to lose one of its best cadres.

"Of course we regret it, and NasDem really lost a senior cadre who has been poor across the world of national politics. But whatever it is, we respect it," said the member of the DPR.

Nevertheless, Ali emphasized that partyship is everyone's volunteerism and right, including the desire to resign.

"But once again that the party is voluntary. People entering the party are the rights of everyone, so we respect that," said Ahmad Ali., said Siswono Yudo Husodo, Monday, December 26.

However, the senior politician has not explained the reason for withdrawing from the party created by Surya Paloh. Siswono himself was appointed Chairman of the NasDem Advisory Council in 2017.
