2022 AFF Cup: Indonesian National Team Player In Fit Condition, Shin Tae-yong Will Rotate Against Brunei

JAKARTA - The Indonesian national team will rotate the players against Brunei Darussalam in the second match of Group A of the 2022 AFF Cup. This match will take place on Monday, December 26.

The Indonesian national team coach, Shin Tae-yong explained, with a tight schedule, his party did not focus on just one match. Moreover, it must move to various countries in Southeast Asia.

"The schedule is very crowded. We play once every three days. So we have to prepare physically and in good condition. Therefore, we will also rotate the players," Shin said in a press conference session, as quoted by Antara, Sunday, December 25.

With a good player's condition, Shin admitted that it would be easy to determine the core players to face Brunei Darussalam. It's just that the decision will be made after the field test is carried out.

Even though he will rotate, the South Korean coach will still aim for victory. However, that does not mean his team will underestimate the opponent.

"For Brunei, of course, it cannot be considered weak, because they can enter this group also through a playoffs. From us, we will also definitely give our best and compete against Brunei by showing their best," said the former Korean national team coach.

The physical condition of the Indonesian national team players is in good shape. The reason is, they used charter planes to face Brunei Darussalam in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Shin said this private plane really helped the team prepare. He said the players could go to Malaysia comfortably.

"There is no problem with the condition of the players," he said.
