3,180 Officers Will Hard Work To Clean Up The Debris Of New Year's Eve In Jakarta Until 5 Morning
JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Environment Agency will deploy 3,180 cleaners to clean up the remaining garbage celebrating New Year's Eve 2023 which will be held at a number of points in the capital city.
The officers will clean up the garbage before the celebration starts on December 31, 2022 at 20.00 WIB, followed by the event which will be completed on January 1, 2023 at 02.00 WIB until 05.00 WIB.
"The DKI LH Department has prepared 3,180 personnel at 21 location points. In addition, we are also preparing mobile toilets and preparing garbage transportation and street sweepers," said Public Relations of the DKI Jakarta Environment Agency, Yogi Ikhwan in his statement, Saturday, December 24.
At the Jakarta Mudi Semarak Young Night celebration along Jalan Jenderal Sudirman to Jalan MH Thamrin, there will be 820 personnel cleaning the area.
In the Sudirman-Thamrin area, there will be 7 music stages spread along the protocol road.
"The infrastructure and infrastructure prepared are 9 units of garbage transportation, 20 units of sweepers, 7 units of toilet buses, sweeps and sacks, anddust bins," said Yogi.
The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has also held a provincial-level New Year's Eve festival on the Archipelago Cultural Stage of Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), East Jakarta. 600 cleaning staff were deployed.
"Prepared facilities and infrastructure are 4 units of garbage transportation, 10 toilet buses, and 4 units of sweepers," he said.
Then, more than a thousand other janitors will clean up trash on New Year's Eve 2023 celebrations at the city level, namely a number of public spaces that are potentially visited by many people.
The celebrations at the city level are Thamrin 10 in Central Jakarta, North Jakarta Mayor's Office, West Jakarta Mayor's Office, Setu Babakan in South Jakarta, Old Shanghai in East Jakarta, and Untung Java Island in the Thousand Islands.
Then, the DKI LH Service also dispatched 820 cleaners to handle waste at tourist attractions, namely Kota Tua, Ancol Beach, Ragunan Wildlife Park, Setu Babakan UN, TMII, and the National Monument.
