KAI Daop 1 Has Selled 287,000 Tickets Out Of 736,406 Tickets During The Christmas And New Year Period
JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero), Operation Area 1 Jakarta (Daop 1 Jakarta) provides 736,406 tickets for Christmas 2022 and New Year's 2023 needs. Of these totales, around 287,000 tickets have been sold.
The Christmas and New Year period set by KAI is 20 days. Starting from December 22, 2022 to January 8, 2023.
"As of Friday, December 23, the booking for Nataru tickets for the departure of Gambir Station and Pasar Senen has sold around 287,000 for departure from December 22, 2022 to January 8, 2023," said Head of Public Relations of PT KAI Daop 1 Jakarta Eva Chairunisa, Friday, November 23.
Eva said the number of ticket sales will continue to increase because sales are still ongoing online or online. "Currently, passenger volume is starting to increase very significantly," he said.
Furthermore, Eva said that based on ticket sales data, the volume of passengers departing on Friday, December 23, was the highest volume figure during the Christmas and New Year period for the Daop 1 area of Jakarta.
"In total there are around 38,000 passengers today, of which 16,000 tickets were sold for departures from Gambir Station with 38 train trips operational services," he said.
Meanwhile, the other 22,000 are tickets for selling departures from Pasar Senen Station with 32 train trips operational services.
"This number may still increase considering that ticket sales for departures to the last train today are still open," he said.
Favorite Destination City
Eva said, there are a number of favorite destination cities chosen by passengers, such as Yogyakarta, Solo, Semarang, Purwokerto, Tegal, Kutoarjo, Surabaya, Malang and Madiun. "Meanwhile, for close range, namely Cirebon and Bandung," he said.
KAI Daop 1 Jakarta, continued Eva, reminded all service users to pay attention to the latest travel regulations currently in effect.
The following are the complete rules regarding the Vaccine for KAJJ referring to the Circular Letter of the Ministry of Health Number HK.02.02/II/3984/2022 concerning Preparedness for Facing Christmas Holidays in 2022 and New Year 2023:
1. Age 18 years and over:
a) Mandatory third vaccine (booster)
b) Foreigners who come from overseas travel are required to have a second vaccine
b) No/not vaccinated on medical grounds that it is mandatory to show a doctor's certificate from a government hospital
2. Age 6 to 12 years:
a) Mandatory second vaccine
b) Coming from overseas trips, no mandatory vaccines
c) Not/not vaccinated must have a certificate of not getting vaccinated from the Puskesmas/Health service facility for certain reasons, or must be accompanied by parents/adults who have received complete vaccinations (Vaccines 1, vaccines 2, and boosters 1) during the trip. In the event that the parents/adults of the companion have not received a complete vaccination for health reasons it must be proven by a certificate from the doctor in charge of services in accordance with the provisions of the Health protocol for travelers
3. Age 13 to 17 years:
a) Mandatory second vaccine
b) Coming from overseas trips, no mandatory vaccines
c) No/not vaccinated on medical grounds that it is mandatory to show a doctor's certificate from a government hospital
4. Customers under the age of 6 are not required to be vaccinated and are not required to show a negative result of the Rapid Antigen Test or RT-PCR but must be with a companion who meets the travel requirements
