Central Java Food Task Force Tinjau Tanjung Mas Port, Check The Distribution Chain During Christmas And New Year
SEMARANG Ahead of Christmas 2022 and New Year 2023 (Nataru), the Central Java Police Ditreskrimsus took steps to keep Central Java's food stock safe during Nataru. Most recently, Ditreskrimsus officers conducted a review and patrol of the food distribution chain for the Central Java region.
Deputy Director of Criminal Investigation at the Central Java Police, AKBP Himawan Sutanto Saragih, inspected a number of imported commodity containers at the Pelindo Container Terminal, at Tanjung Mas Port, Semarang, Thursday, December 22.
During the review, he checked two commodities, namely beans from India and tapioka flour which were still in the container.
Together with agricultural quarantine officers, AKBP Himawan immediately checked the quality of the two commodities. He explained that this check aims to ensure food distribution ahead of Nataru, running well without any obstacles.
"We are monitoring the distribution, especially basic commodities. Because we know that this basic ingredient is very much needed by the community," said AKBP Himawan accompanied by the Head of the Central Java Industry and Trade Office, Arif Sambodo, and the Head of the Tanjung Emas Customs Office, Anton Martin.
He ensured that his party would oversee the distribution of food. His party does not want any food distribution controls.
"When the distribution runs smoothly, the community needs can automatically be met," he explained.
He asked all parties in the distribution of food so that there would be no games. Meanwhile, he said, the distribution of food in Central Java is still safe, aka there is no naughty game.
"If there is a game, we will look into the report. Then we cooperate with stakeholders such as Disperindang, Customs and Excise, Agricultural Quarantine Center and others for further action," he explained.
Head of the Central Java Industry and Trade Office (Disperindag Jateng) Arif Sambodo said his party was very focused on distribution and food availability.
His party, who is also part of the Food Task Force, ensures that food reaches the community as consumers.
"Furthermore, we are collaborating with the task force in the city Regency regarding possible distribution constraints. If there is this report, then we will follow up," said Arif.
