The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has extended prevention abroad against parties suspected of being involved in a corruption case in the procurement of liquefied natural gas (LNG) at PT Pertamina in 2011-2021. Four people were prevented from traveling.

"KPK has again extended the period of prevention of not traveling abroad against four people related to this case for the next six months," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, Thursday, December 22.

Ali did not specify the identities of the four. However, he said this step was taken to make it easier for investigators to ask for their information.

"The decision will start from December 2022 to June 2023," he explained.

Furthermore, those who were prevented from leaving the country were asked to cooperate. They must fulfill the summons of investigators, especially since the KPK is committed to thoroughly investigating this alleged corruption.
