Mother's Day, Social Minister Risma: No More Children Derived Parents
JAKARTA - Minister of Social Affairs (Mensos) Tri Rismaharini in commemoration of Mother's Day 2022 hopes that there will be no more children who neglect their parents, especially mothers.
"Because it is mothers who have fought for the lives of children, starting from the womb, and so on after being born into the world," he said in Klungkung Regency, Bali Province, Thursday, December 22, as reported by Antara.
I hope this lesson is taught to all mothers in Indonesia so that there is no more, children ignore their parents. No more children leave parental care to institutions. We hope that it will be like that," he added.
The Minister of Social Affairs said that a mother has been given extraordinary strength by God, so that she can take care of her child to achieve success.
Not only caring for children, he said, some mothers also work outside the home. However, the Minister of Social Affairs reminded mothers not to forget their obligations as a woman.
The theme of Mother's Day celebration is empowered women. According to her, empowered women are not just employees or employees.
In my opinion, it is how to guide our children so that their lives are directed. Our children can feel the love of their parents. It's really hard," he said.
He stated that even though it was hard, that didn't mean it couldn't be done. He reflected it when his child was young, he had to cook from 03.00 so that his son could eat when he also had to work.
