JAKARTA - Currently appearing in the Stop! The title of this autobiography is taken from the song Guns N 'Roses, Double Talkin' Jive, written by former guitarist Izzy Stradlin on the album Use Your Illusion I. Sorum and Stradlin then recorded it in one take.
The premise of the lyrics is based around the kinds of pitfalls and successes of the music business. Regarding this, in this book, Sorum speaks very honestly about the things he went through from his perspective as a musician.
"I have to tell the story like I did, and I hope people don't think of it because I sound lousy or something. I just want to be honest and honest as possible, from my point of view," said Sorum as quoted by Blabbermouth, Monday, 21 December.

"In this book you can see that so much hard work I put in. A lot of bruises along the way. And then, as your career progresses and you become successful, things happen. Of course, there is a drug and alcohol problem you know, the pitfalls. rock and roll stars and all that shit. "
"For me, when I do it," refers to the rock star lifestyle, "and when I'm at the top (of Guns N 'Roses success), I'm like,' If I don't do this now, I'll regret it later. ' So I just tried to live my life because I thought I wanted to live it as a kid who dreamed of being in a rock and roll band, "Sorum concluded.
