! Ticket Prices For The 2023 Indonesia Masters Badminton Tournament Don't Go Up Like Basic Necessities, Here's A List
JAKARTA - The ticket price for the 2023 Indonesia Masters badminton competition in Jakarta is certainly not increasing. The following is a list of ticket prices for the Super 500 BWF event.
Chairman of the Tournament Implementing Committee Armand Darmadji said the decision not to increase ticket prices was due to Indonesia's unstable economic condition after being hit by the coronavirus.
"The committee for the 2023 Indonesia Masters tournament has decided that ticket prices for the 2023 event will not increase. All ticket prices in various classes are still the same as in 2022," Armand said in a written statement received by the media.
In addition, he continued, ticket prices are not controlled to accommodate the wishes of badminton lovers. They are expected to return to Istora at the current ticket price.
"The organizing committee heard the wishes of badminton fans so that the price of tickets for the Indonesia Masters 2023 would not increase," said Armand.
"So, the ticket price that we have released must be affordable and in accordance with the pockets of badminton lovers who are always present from year to year to fill the arena of matches," he added.
The Indonesia Masters will take place at Istora Gelora Bung Karno, Senayan, Jakarta, on January 24-29, 2023. This tournament provides a total prize of 420,000 US dollars or more than IDR 6.5 billion.
The organizing committee provides a total of 6,000 tickets. The ticket price will be sold on a limited and normal basis.
Tickets will start selling online starting Thursday, December 22 at 12.00 WIB tomorrow. Orders can be made through the official website of PBSI. For online purchases, one identity card (KTP) can buy 10 tickets for six championship days with one category of a maximum of two tickets/day.
