Coordinating Minister Airlangga CLAims Many G20 Countries Hate Indonesia's Success Secrets Handling COVID-19
Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto said the crisis due to the COVID-19 pandemic was the first since the last 100 years.
Many countries have been hit by COVID-19, but have not managed to handle it. However, Indonesia managed to handle it.
This success, said Airlangga, has encouraged many large countries to find out how Indonesia can get out of the negative impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and survive until now.
This was revealed by Coordinating Minister Airlangga during the launch of the book Handling the COVID-19 Pandemic and National Economic Recovery.
The book contains the government's steps in responding to the pandemic to finally achieve satisfactory economic growth.
The former Minister of Industry said that Indonesia's escape from the COVID-19 pandemic storm was marked by an increase in economic growth, where people's mobility had increased and had an impact on the national economy.
"Indonesia graduated today with 5.42 percent controlled inflation, relatively good economic growth 5.72 percent, and daily handling of COVID-19 cases below 5,000 (people). Many G20 countries are asking how we successfully handled this," he said at the Fairmont Hotel, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday, December 20.
Airlangga said the various steps taken by the government had been summarized in the handling line since the first day of the discovery of COVID-19 cases, until Indonesia was said to have come out of the negative impact of the pandemic.
According to him, the extraordinary cooperation of all stakeholders in the country government, society, TNI-Polri and also all leaders in their respective communities is one of the keys to the success of handling COVID-19.
"That's the formula for our success, in other places there is no mutual cooperation, in other places nothing is micro," he said.
