JAKARTA A number of witnesses in the case of domestic violence (KDRT) at the Signature Park Tebet Apartment in South Jakarta have been questioned by South Jakarta Metro Police investigators. It is known that the alleged perpetrator, RIS, admitted that he was annoyed because his son did not attend online schools (on the network).

"The motive was because the reporter informed the reported that the victim (the child) did not carry out an online school. At the time of the incident in 2021, it was still WFH (pandemic-ed)," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Irwandhy when confirmed, Tuesday, December 20.

This made the alleged perpetrator provoked by emotion until he finally beat his son.

"The reported person was angry and did this (the beating). Then after the incident, based on the reported statement, the victim continued his online schooling," said Irwandhy.

Until now, the South Jakarta Metro Police are still investigating the case. It is suspected that the perpetrator, who is the victim's biological father, abused his two children who were 10 years and 12 years old.

Head of Public Relations of the South Jakarta Metro Police, AKP Nurma Dewi, said that the status of the case had been raised, from an investigation to an investigation.
