Their arrival was to provide evidence of violence perpetrated by the police when the incident occurred on Monday, December 7, early morning.

"We, from the family lawyers team of six laskar victims of alleged gross human rights violations committed by the police and the FPI DPP, together with family representatives and several national figures will come to Komnas HAM to provide evidence and explanation of our version to Komnas HAM," said FPI lawyer Aziz. Yanuar in his written statement to reporters quoted Monday, December 21.

This is done so that the families of the victims can get justice immediately. Apart from that, his party also said that he would continue to oversee Komnas HAM in investigating the case.

"We, together with the families of six laskar, national figures, lovers and aspirants for the upholding of justice and truth are ready to always support and guard Komnas HAM to uphold truth and justice," he said.

Previously reported, the Komnas HAM team had conducted examinations with a number of witnesses related to this incident including the Head of the Metro Jaya Police Inspector General of Police Fadil Imran to the doctor who conducted an autopsy on the six bodies of FPI members.

It is known that the police attack carried out by Rizieq Shihab's army took place at around 00.30 WIB Monday, December 7 in the morning.

Metro Jaya Regional Police Chief Inspector General Fadil Imran said that the police received news that a mass of supporters of Rizieq Shihab would be deployed in connection with an investigation called Inspector General Fadil circulating in many WhatsApp groups.

The Regional Police conducted an investigation into the correctness of the information and followed the vehicle Rizieq was in. On the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road, Fadil said the officers' vehicles were intercepted and then attacked using firearms and sharp weapons.

"Members who were threatened with their life safety because of being attacked, then took a decisive measure, so that the group suspected of being MRS followers, totaling 10, died as many as 6 people," said Fadil.

However, this was denied by the FPI Spokesperson, Munarman. Munarman emphasized that Rizieq had traveled to attend recitation at the residence of his immediate family.

"The news is slander. Habib Rizieq is heading outside Jakarta to attend the nuclear family recitation. I do not want to mention where it is. This is only a nuclear family recitation, it does not involve any parties," said Munarman.

Munarman also denied that Rizieq's followers had firearms. Therefore, Munarman emphasized that no shootout was carried out by the police and members of the laskar.

As a result of this incident, there were five bodies buried in the Megamendung Sharia Markaz complex, namely Andi Oktiawan (33), Faiz Ahmad Syukur (22), Ahmad Sofiyan alias Ambon (26), Muhammad Suci Khadavi (21) and Lutfi Hakim (25). Meanwhile, the body of Muhammad Reza (20) was buried by the family.
