JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo said he was evaluating or assessing the conditions of all soccer stadiums. The goal is to decide whether or not the Indonesian League 1 match can be attended by spectators.The evaluation process was carried out in the aftermath of the deadly tragedy at the Kanjuruhan Malang Stadium which left hundreds of people dead. One of the reasons is the condition of the stadium which is considered not to be like a match."Currently Liga 1 has been carried out without spectators, why is that because we are conducting an assessment of the conditions of the existing stadium," said Listyo Sigit at Gelora Bung Karno, Senayan, Tuesday, December 20.The evaluation process also involved the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Menpora) and the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI).However, it is hoped that the assessment will bear sweet fruit. So, people can return to watch the League 1 football match live."So that later in January we can return to home away, so there will be spectators in the match. So this time is what we prepare as well as possible so that in the future League 1 can also be attended by spectators," said Sigit.Previously, it was reported that the National Police gave permission to hold the 2022 FFA Cup match at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium (GBK) Jakarta, Friday, December 23. However, the number of match spectators is limited to 70 percent of the total stadium capacity."We have issued permits for the AFF Cup activities to be attended by spectators. At this time we give a maximum of 70 percent of the audience capacity," said Sigit.
