Reported That 3 BIN Members Arrested By FPI Denied, BIN: No Operation Delima
JAKARTA - The news circulating that three BIN members were arrested by FPI was denied. BIN said the three people detained by the FPI group were called fake BIN members.
"There are no names of BIN members as reported by FPI. All of them mentioned by FPI are clearly not BIN members, aka fake BIN members. There is also no operation called Delima operation in BIN. Why do you follow the FPI leadership, you can meet in person, ”said Deputy VII BIN Wawan Hari Purwanto in a written statement, Sunday, December 20.
In addition, the membership card used by the three people who claimed to be BIN members was called a fake Wawan alias, like the one with the original BIN. According to Wawan, many people claim to be members of BIN in various regions in Indonesia.
“Moreover, carrying an identity card is not possible in an intelligence operation. Moreover, it is said that there are 22 deputies, there are no 22 deputies in BIN, "added Wawan.
In addition, Wawan said that there was no BIN order stating the name of the operation being carried out.
"So if there is a warrant containing the name and operating code in writing, whatever the name is, it's not true. Because it is not customary for BIN to have operational tasks to be sprinted, ”he said.
BIN requests that any party who finds people claiming to be officers from BIN to be reported to the authorities.
"Let it be clear and legally complete and not fried on the public opinion stage," said Wawan.
