Bank Mandiri Joins New Features On Livin Applications: Disbursed Limit On Credit Cards Entering Accounts
JAKARTA PT Bank Mandiri Tbk. mentioned expanding the official Livin application service through the addition of cash withdrawal features from credit cards and QRIS payments.
Bank Mandiri Director of Information Technology Timothy Utama said the latest facilities embedded in Livin can make it easier for customers in every financial transaction.
"Bank Mandiri is always responsive to the development of customer needs for banking solutions that can directly facilitate daily life," he said in a written statement on Monday, December 19.
According to Timothy, customers can also more freely regulate cash flow considering that funding sources can now be arranged from various channels. He explained that Bank Mandiri credit cardholder customers can withdraw cash funds to savings accounts from the remaining limits they have.
"Customers can withdraw up to 50 percent of the remaining credit card limits or a maximum of IDR 500 million," he said.
Timothy added, in paying QRIS customers can complete transactions through the credit card limit owned from those who previously could only use a balance in a savings account.
"So customers can pay QRIS anywhere by freely choosing between savings or credit cards. This is simple but quite helpful," he added.
Through this strategy, the issuer codenamed BMRI hopes to continue to spur growth in banking intermediation. Moreover, currently, credit card transaction growth in Indonesia continues to be expansive in line with the improving trend of public spending.
"We hope that the addition of the feature in Livin' by Mandiri will make it easier for customers to make shopping transactions with credit cards," he said.
For information, until the end of November 2022, the total volume of Bank Mandiri credit card transactions has grown by 32.3 percent year on year (yoy).
Meanwhile, as of November 2022, Livin has been downloaded more than 20 million times with a total transaction exceeding 1.7 billion transactions with a transaction value of IDR 2,100 trillion.
