KCIC Explains The Chronology Of Technical Train Accidents That 2 People Died In Padalarang
The Kerja Train in the form of a Working Logomotive and an Installation Machine (ballasted) on the Jakarta-Bandung High Speed Rail (KCJB) project was involved in an accident. Two people died as a result of the accident.
PT KCIC Corporate Secretary Rahadian Ratry explained the chronology of the accident occurred on Sunday, December 18 at 17.00 WIB in Cempaka Mekar Village, Padalarang, West Bandung Regency.
"The trains that left the lane or fell were work trains in the form of locomotives and rail installation machines," said Rahadian Rattry, quoted from Antara, Monday, December 19.
He added that the evacuation process had been going on since Sunday night and is still ongoing today.
Rahadian said, so far there are two injured victims who have undergone treatment at the Santosa Hospital in Bandung.
"Two other people who suffered minor injuries have been allowed to go home," he said.
His party coordinated together, including with the authorities conducting an investigation into the incident.
Meanwhile, the Director of General Criminal Investigation at the West Java Police, Kombes Pol. Yani Sudarto, said that there were casualties in the incident.
However, he said, officers were still identifying the number of victims in the hospital.
"For the chronology, the investigation is still ongoing, the alleged cause of the accident is also not yet known because it is still being investigated," said Yani.
