Two Of The 28 Rintisan Wisata Villages In Kudus Will Be Proposed As Tourism Villages
KUDUS - Kudus Regency Government, Central Java, has started preparing 28 tourist villages to become tourist villages by making improvements ranging from road access, tourist attractions, amenities, and other peculiarities that must be displayed to invite tourist attractions.
"Until now, in Kudus Regency, there have been 28 tourist startups that have also received a decree (SK) from the Kudus Regent, while there are no tourist villages," said the Head of the Kudus Regency Culture and Tourism Office, Mutrikah, reported by Antara from Kudus, Sunday, December 18.
For this reason, he continued, his party is determined to create a tourist village with the condition that it must meet 24 sub-sectors. Of the dozens of sub-sectors as requirements, including those related to road access, tourist attractions, amenities, and other peculiarities that must be met.
"We have also prepared the quality of human resources (HR) by collaborating with other regional apparatus organizations (OPD), namely the Manpower Service which has a budget to train the community to become tour guides or tour guides," he said.
He noted that from 28 tourist startups, there are several villages that are ready to be proposed to become tourist villages. Among them, Kesambi Village and Kauman Village. While other villages are also being prepared so that the requirements are met.
To be able to meet these requirements, he admits that it requires the hard work and support of all parties.
"We cannot target that in 2023 a certain number of villages can be achieved. Even if we are not ready, we will propose it in 2024," he said.
According to him, the consequences of the village that gets the tourism village decree, the manager must ensure that the village can develop, because it has become a tourist attraction in Kudus Regency.

Villages with the status of startups can also apply for financial assistance from the Central Java Provincial Government because previously there have been several villages that have received assistance. In the context of developing tourist villages, the Kudus Regency Government also facilitates the application for assistance to the Central Java Provincial Government.
