The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip Is Ready To Compete With The Motorola Razr

JAKARTA - The new device of Samsung's folding screen phone is getting clearer. Galaxy Z Flip will be present as the latest folding screen phone from Samsung that carries the clamshell concept.

Quoting from The Verge, the cellphone that comes with the serial number SM-F700U has received a certificate from the FCC or the United States communications equipment regulatory agency. This indicates that a folding screen phone will be released to the public soon.

At first glance, the presence of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is said to be in direct competition with the Motorola Razr, which also carries a flip or clamshell-style folding screen phone. Moreover, Motorola will launch the Razr series on 18 February.

Judging from the specifications in GSMarena, the Galaxy Z Flip will come with an Ultra Thin Glass in 6.7 Inch foldable display with FHD Plus resolution (2636 x 1080). Reportedly Samsung also immersed a 1.06-inch Super AMOLED screen on the outside, which functions as a viewfinder and to view notifications.

Samsung will also equip this foldable smartphone with a 12MP dual camera, which is displayed next to the external screen. While the selfie camera has a resolution of 10MP. The kitchen uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ chipset, 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage space.

On the charging side, the Galaxy Z Flip supports 15W charging and 9W Qi wireless charging with a battery capacity of 3,300 mAh. There is only one USB-C port for charging and audio. The phone also has a 3.5mm headphone jack.

It is reported that Samsung will launch the Galaxy Z Flip on February 14, in four color choices namely Black, Gold, Purple and Silver. Unfortunately, Samsung doesn't want to divulge the estimated price for this folding screen phone.
