Ahead Of The 10th BTS Ultah Celebration: Printing Company In Korea Releases Limited Medals, Post Offices Make Special Staps
JAKARTA - A printing company from Korea, Komsco, is showing off a medal that will be released to celebrate the 10th anniversary of BTS which will take place next year.
As reported by the Korea Times, Saturday, December 18, on the one hand, the medal was written by the group name and members as well as the BTS logo. On the other hand, there are also numbers 10 and patterns such as stars.
The medal was reportedly made into three versions of gold and one version of silver. The number of medals is also limited to 87,777 copies to be sold worldwide.
To order the medal, fans can place an order until December 25 at Komsco online malls, Weverse Shop, Shinhan Bank, and global Gmarket sites. Medal shipments will begin in March 2023.
" Marking the 10th anniversary of BTS' debut next year, we are using the latest coining technology to make a warning medal that meets the top artist's global status," said an unnamed Komsco official, as quoted by Antara.
Not only that, but Korea Post also plans to issue a BTS stamp as one of 23 warning stamps for 2023.
The post service office issues about 20 types of stamps annually to mark important and historically meaningful figures and events as well as to promote government projects.
The BTS stamp will be released with the theme "Record of Youth" on June 13, where it is the group's debut date. The stamp design will also be decided through discussions with the group agency HYBE.
"Given hope and comfort to the world through its lyrics, BTS has been judged as a pop icon representing the 21st century," the office said.
"During the pandemic, BTS has healed the minds of world citizens, and won many awards at famous music awards, including Billboard Music Awards and American Music awards," he concluded.
