JUMPing 54 Percent, Antam Capai's Net Profit Is IDR 2.63 Trillion In The Third Quarter Of 2022
JAKARTA - PT Aneka Tambang Tbk or Antam managed to record positive financial performance growth in nine months this year. The issuer coded ANTM posted a net profit of IDR 2.63 trillion. The net profit grew 54 percent on an annual basis or year on year (yoy) from the same year earlier IDR 1.71 trillion. This increase in net profit was in line with the increase in revenue. Antam recorded a sales value of IDR 33.68 trillion or grew 27 percent when compared to sales in the same period the previous year, which amounted to IDR 26.48 trillion. Antam Syarif Corporate Secretary Faisal Alkadrie said that gold products were the largest contributor to sales with a proportion of 70 percent of Antam's total sales with a sales value of IDR 23.53 trillion. He said, recorded that during that period the gold metal sales volume reached 25.93 tons, growing 31 percent when compared to sales achievements in the same period the previous year of 19.87 tons.
This precious metal and purification segment managed to record a net profit of IDR 1.75 trillion or grew 45 yoy from a period of nine months in 2021 of IDR 1.2 trillion. "In nine months this year, feronikel sales are the second largest contributor to Antam's sales with a contribution of IDR 4.91 trillion or 15 percent of Antam's total consolidated sales," he said in an official statement, Friday, December 16.
Meanwhile, said Syarif, sales of the Nickel segment in the nine months of 2022 reached Rp8.48 trillion, growing 12 percent on an annual basis from sales the previous year of Rp7.6 trillion. The net profit of this period's nickel segment reached Rp2.93 trillion. "The sales contribution of the Bauxit and Alumina segments reached Rp1.44 trillion, growing 50 percent yoy from the previous period of Rp959.24 billion," he said. At the end of the nine-month period of 2022, Antam consistently maintained financial structure solidity. Syarif said, this was reflected in the cash and cash equivalent rate of Rp4.62 trillion.
"It was recorded that throughout this period, the Company was able to reduce the rate of interest-beaming debt, which consisted of short-term bank loans and investment loans of a total of IDR 1.65 trillion," he said. Antam's interest rate at the end of the 9M22 period reached IDR 4.22 trillion, or a decrease of 28 percent from the loan position on December 31, 2021, amounting to IDR 5.87 trillion.
