Samsung Did Not Turn Off The Galaxy Note Smartphone Line

JAKARTA - It is rumored that Samsung will stop production of the Galaxy Note line starting next year. However, this was denied by Samsung officials themselves.

Through his statement, which was disclosed anonymously through local Korean media, Yonhap News, the Samsung official said that his company was preparing to launch a new Galaxy Note line in 2021.

The report comes from Reuters, which reported earlier this month that Samsung no longer has plans for the Galaxy Note series in 2021.

In addition, a report by Korean newspaper ET News at the end of last month also mentioned that there will likely be one last Galaxy Note smartphone before Samsung combines the Note and Z Fold lines.

This is further strengthened after the head of Samsung's cellular division, TM Roh recently confirmed that it will bring the “most appreciated feature” of the Galaxy Note series to other devices.

Responding to this, the anonymous Samsung official told Yonhap News that TM Roh's statement does not mean that Galaxy Note production will be stopped forever.

However, rumors regarding the termination of the Galaxy Note series are not without reason. One of the arguments in support of this news is that there will be Samsung's latest device to adopt the S Pen, the Galaxy S21 which will be released in January.

Then, the Galaxy S and Note lineups will be combined and keep the Z Fold and Flip series apart in the ultra-premium segment. This was quoted from Engadget, Saturday, December 19.
