Sugianto Sabran-Edy Wins In Central Kalimantan Pilgub
PALANGKA RAYA - The Central Kalimantan Provincial Election Commission appointed candidate pair number 2 Sugianto Sabran-Edy Pratowo as the winner of the Central Kalimantan Pilgub. Sugianto Sabran-Edy managed to get 33,328 votes ahead of its competitor number 1 Ben Brahim S Bahat-Ujang Iskandar.
"The data on the vote acquisition for candidate pair number 1 were 502,800 votes and pair number 2 received 536,128 votes," said the KPU Commissioner for Central Kalimantan, Technical Division, Sastriadi in Palangka Raya, quoted by Antara, Friday, December 18.
Sastriadi read out the Central Kalimantan KPU's decision regarding the implementation of the recapitulation of the vote count results and the results of the 2020 Central Kalimantan governor and deputy governor election during the open plenary session at a hotel in Palangka Raya.
The plenary recapitulation at the provincial level itself was only attended by a number of related parties such as the KPU, Bawaslu and the winning team for candidate pairs.
Meanwhile, the determination of the vote acquisition of each candidate was read directly by the Head of the Central Kalimantan KPU, Harmain Ibrohim.
The decision of the Central Kalimantan KPU is contained in Number: 075 / Pl.06.6.Kpt / Prov / XII / 2020 concerning the application of the recapitulation of the results of the calculation of vote acquisition and the election results for the 2020 Governor and Deputy Governor of Central Kalimantan.
"The recapitulation of the vote count results and election results as contained in the first dictum is set on Friday, 18 December 2020," said Harmain.
These results have gone through a long process from recapitulation at the polling station level, to sub-districts, regencies / cities to open plenary meetings in this province.
If there is a dispute with the Constitutional Court regarding the results that have been determined, the determination of the winner of the Pilkada will be postponed, until there is an official MK decision.
However, if there is no lawsuit, within three days after the plenary meeting is over, the candidate pairs that get the highest votes will be applied.
