KPK OTT In Surabaya Allegedly Regarding Grant Funds To Ormas

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) held a hand arrest operation (OTT) in Surabaya, East Java on Wednesday night, December 14. It is suspected that there was a bribery of grant funds from the local government to community groups.

"KPK has arrested alleged corruption related to grant funds to community groups," said KPK Chairman Firli Bahuri to reporters, Thursday, December 15.

Firli confirmed that the party caught in the silent operation, one of which was the Deputy Chairman of the East Java DPRD, Sahat Tua Simanjuntak. He was caught with several parties who had not been fully detailed.

In addition to securing a number of people, the anti-corruption commission also found money in the activity. However, Firli did not specify the amount because the team was still working.

"KPK also confiscated cash. We are still working and the results will certainly be conveyed during a press conference," he concluded.
