Suga BTS Called Military Mandatory Will, This Is An Agency Response
JAKARTA - Suga reportedly followed Jin BTS to undergo military service in the near future. This news circulated a few hours after the group's oldest member officially carried out basic training on Tuesday, December 13.
The Korea Herald reports several sources that Suga will launch himself as a public worker. Of course this is different from Jin, who chose to be an active soldier in Gyeonggi.
Suga's choice as a public worker is suspected to be related to shoulder surgery in 2020. Physical condition can be a consideration for a person to choose the division where he served during the military.
Moments after this news got busy, BTS's agency HYBE responded to claims from the media. They explained that the decision to join the military was only made by the will of the members themselves.
BTS members will be conscripted according to individual plans. We can't confirm their personal information," the agency said.
Suga himself will be 30 next year, therefore he is expected to undergo military service in the near future. All BTS members are allowed to serve in the military at the age of 30 compared to 28.
Kabar wamil Suga muncul setelah Jin melaksanakan wajib militer pada Selasa, 13 Desember. Ia dikentar oleh enam anggota BTS pada hari yang sama menuju kamp militer di Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi.
According to his statement, Jin BTS did not greet the media or fans before entering. HYBE also provides greater guard to prevent the atmosphere from being conducive.
Jin will undergo basic training for five weeks before serving as an active soldier in the army. He will be in the military for one year and six months and out in mid-2024.
