Third Album Liquid Tension Experiment Released Spring 2021

JAKARTA - Liquid Tension Experiment (LTE) has signed a contract with InsideOut Music for their third album. This album will come out next spring, or 22 years after the release of Liquid Tension Experiment 2 in 1999.

LTE is a progressive rock / metal instrumental project featuring Dream Theater keyboardist Jordan Rudess and guitarist John Petrucci. The lineup features former Dream Theater drummer Mike Portnoy and progressive rock icon Tony Levin (bass) of King Crimson and Peter Gabriel.

"What happens, if you put the four most talented musicians on the planet in one room? LTE. We've all been waiting for this album to materialize for a very long time and it makes us very proud to release this album. This one is for the fans!" InsideOut Music label manager Thomas Waber said, quoted from Blabbermouth, Friday, December 18.

"We've all known Thomas Waber for a really long time, and Jordan and I recently discovered how great it was to finally work together when Dream Theater joined the InsideOut family a few years ago. There's no better home for LTE, and we all hope to do great things together! " Petrucci added.

Portnoy said he and Petrucci had known Waber since they met on Dream Theater's first European tour in 1993.

"Since then, I've worked with him and InsideOut for the last 20 years with Transatlantic, The Neal Morse band and Sons Of Apollo. When LTE finally reunited this summer, we knew of no other label we could call home," said Portnot. excited.
