Plenary Of KPU Pilgub South Kalimantan: Cagub Team Denny Indrayana Protests Vote Count Results In Banjar

BANJARMASIN - The witness team for the candidate for governor and deputy governor of South Kalimantan number 2, Denny Indrayana and H Difriadi Derajat (Denny-Difri) questioned the vote count in Banjar Regency.

"We will not sign the recapitulation of the vote count results in Banjar Regency," said the Secretary of the DPD Gerindra Party of South Kalimantan Ilham Noor during the open plenary meeting of the recapitulation of the vote count results for the 2020 South Kalimantan Pilgub at the Golden Tulip Hotel Banjarmasin quoted by Antara, Friday, December 18.

His party did not question the recapitulation of vote count results in 12 other districts / cities. However, it is different in Banjar Regency, because it has disagreed since the recapitulation of the vote count results at the district level.

"Since the recapitulation of the vote count results in Banjar Regency, we have disagreed and we do not want to sign the results, including the provincial level," said Ilham.

According to him, based on the observation of the Denny-Difri winning team in the open plenary meeting of the recapitulation of the vote count results in Banjar Regency which lasted for three days, before going to the provincial level, it did not match the existing results, both technical and other non-technical votes.

"So that friends in Banjar Regency must be investigated, and they reject the plenary session," he explained.

If in Banjar Regency his party has refused, of course at the provincial level it will also not be agreed upon, before the problem is properly resolved.

"Please proceed with the plenary meeting at the provincial level. We will not sign until we meet at the Constitutional Court (MK)," he concluded.

The open plenary meeting of the recapitulation of the vote count results for the 2020 governor and deputy governor elections has entered its end, namely, Banjar Regency has not yet been ratified because the recapitulation has not been completed.

From the data on the vote acquisition between Denny-Difri and the pair H Sahbirin-Muhidin in Banjar Regency, it was far different, Denny-Difri was behind nearly 70 thousand votes.
