Preventing COVID-19 Transmission, DPR Guests Must Show COVID-19 Test Results
JAKARTA - The Secretariat General of the Indonesian Parliament has now tightened the rules for health protocols for guests visiting the DPR. Partners, invitees, or guests who enter the building must now show the results of a COVID-19 test.
This is stated in the Joint Circular number SJ / 21604 / SETJEN DPR RI / UM.04 / 12/2020 concerning Health Protocols for Work Partners / Guests / People Visiting the MPR / DPR / DPD RI. This letter was signed by the Acting Head of the General Bureau of the Secretary General of the MPR RI Ma'ruf Cahyono, the Head of the General Bureau of the DPR RI Secretary General Djustiawan Widjaya, and the Head of the General Bureau of the Secretary General of the DPD RI Rahman Hadi on December 8.
In the letter, it was stated that visitors who were going to enter the area of the people's representative building must bring the results of testing for COVID-19 in the form of a non-reactive rapid test certificate or a negative COVID-19 test result.
"Each guest is required to bring / show the results of the COVID-19 screening test no later than 7 (seven) days before visiting. Partners / guests are allowed to enter the environment if the results of the screening through rapid test show that IgG and IgM are non-reactive or the results of the swab test (antigen / pcr). declared negative, "was quoted as saying from point 1 of the circular letter.
On the next point, visitors are required to wear masks and maintain hand hygiene and obey the directions of the Task Force COVID-19 of the Secretariat General; must submit personal identity, contact, and domicile address and fill in the guest book; does not exceed the capacity of the room to apply keep the distance; and finally must show an invitation letter.
"The officer has the right not to allow guests to enter the MPR / DPR / DPD building area if points 1 and 5 are not obeyed," the letter concluded.
The Secretary General of the DPR, Indra Iskandar, has a circular stipulating the obligation to show the results of the COVID-19 test. He said the rules in this letter came into effect after being circulated. "That's right (there is a circular, red)," he said when confirmed by reporters
