Police Divide East Jakarta Border With COVID-19 Antigen Test

JAKARTA- - The East Jakarta Polrestro Health Affairs Unit (Urkes) has allocated 500 antigen rapid test kits to detect COVID-19 for residents entering and leaving Jakarta in two eastern border locations.

"500 antigen test kits have been prepared, each at the Pasar Rebo Blocking Post and the Cakung Blocking Post," said Deputy Head of East Jakarta Police AKBP Seteven Tamuntuan as quoted by Antara, Friday, December 18.

The antigen rapid test is a rapid diagnostic test for site-of-care testing that directly detects the presence or absence of substances that stimulate an immune response.

Steven said that all the test kits were provided by the East Jakarta Police Health Affairs Unit.

An blocking post in the East Jakarta jurisdiction was established in the Pasar Rebo area which borders the Depok and Bogor areas and on Jalan Raya Bekasi, Cakung which borders the City of Bekasi.

Meanwhile, Kapolsek Cakung, Kompol Satria Darma, said the blocking activity on Jalan Raya Bekasi involved three elements of police personnel from the Cakung Sector, the Matraman Sector, and the Pulogadung Sector.

"We are also assisted by TNI personnel, Satpol PP, and Dishub. A total of 150 personnel are on standby at the Bondol Eagle Border Gate, Jalan Raya Bekasi," he said.

His party is equipped with 100 antigen rapid test kits to check the health of passers who leave and enter the Jakarta area.

"There is an antigen test. We have prepared up to 100 devices. The plan is that this isolation will be held until evening until there are further instructions," he said.
