Superman Becomes A Priority, James Gunn Denies Conflicts With Henry Cavill
JAKARTA - James Gunn used Twitter to answer fan questions. One of them relates to the possibility of the Superman franchise which has reportedly canceled.
Last week, James Gunn uploaded a poster of a Superman film released in 1978. He celebrated the release of the first Superman film through his social media.
Hello James, please tell us if we will see Superman? We've been looking forward to the best character on the big screen for a long time! asked a fan.
Yes of course. Superman is a huge priority, if not the biggest priority.

James Gunn explained that he made Superman a priority. Of course this refutes the news that Superman's plans to make a film are canceled as circulated some time ago.
"Of course yes. Superman is a big priority, if not the biggest priority," replied James Gunn.
He also replied to fan tweets asking Henry Cavill's involvement in DC Universe. James Gunn reportedly doesn't like Cavill so it's unlikely that the actor will return to the DC universe.
"Salah. Kami tahu kami tidak bisa membuat penggemar bahagia tapi kami bisa berjanji apa yang kami lakukan untuk CERITA dan karakter DC yang kamu banggakan, tulis James Gunn.
Regarding DCU's future, sadly I have to ask you to wait. We want to give these characters and stories the attention they need and time and there's still a lot to answer," he explained.
This tweet was shared by James Gunn a week after news of the status of several DC Studio films. Reportedly, Peter Safran and Gunn plan to cancel Patty Jenkin's Wonder Woman 3.
In addition, Henry Cavill's continuation as Superman in Man of Steel is also uncertain. Had appeared in Black Adam, DC has not explained Cavill's continuation in the franchise.
