Polemic Of SDN 1 Pondok Cina: Mayor Of Idris Continues To Carry Out Evictions Even Though The West Java Provincial Government Threatens To Hold Budget

DEPOK Depok City Government (Pemkot) continues the process of eviction of State Elementary School (SDN) 1 Pondok Cina, Beji, Depok City. This was conveyed directly by the Mayor of Depok, Muhammad Idris following the news that the West Java Provincial Government threatened to postpone the disbursement of the budget for the construction of a mosque.

"There is no official statement from them (West Java Provincial Government) to me, we will continue to process," Idris told reporters, Monday, December 12.

Idris admitted that he had not received any letter from the West Java Provincial Government regarding the postponement of the eviction of SDN 1 Pondok Cina.

"I haven't received any news yet," he concluded.

Meanwhile, Monday, December 12, a number of parents of SDN 1 Pondok Cina are still staying in the school. They even stayed overnight to dispel the demolition of SDN 1 Pondok Cina.
